General Camp Information
Transport to and from all camps and bivouacs will be provided by the Cadet Unit for those travelling with the Main Body.
For the first day of camps, all cadets must bring a packed lunch. Meals will be provide thereafter.
Those members who are not able to eat the provided food due to dietary requirements must provide their own food completely or substitute those meals required. The Ration Packs that the Cadet Unit uses are those of the Australian Defence Force. A copy of the menu and ingredient list of the ADF Ration Packs is available from the Administration Officer upon request.
A new Next of Kin (NOK)/Medical Form is required by every member for each camp. Although this is tedious, the Australian Army and the Australian Army Cadet Corps only takes responsibility for any claims if all members are carrying a new NOK Form for each camp.
NOK forms must be kept in the top right hand pocket of the shirt AT ALL TIMES. This is so that in the unlikely event that you are unconscious, our medical personal know exactly where to look for your NOK Form.
Key Dates of the Cadet Year can be found on the Calendar link in the grey navigation bar at the top of the page. |
