Parades
The Knox Grammar School Cadet Unit has three annual ceremonial parades:
| ANZAC Day |
|
The ANZAC Day parade is held in early May, due to ANZAC Day now falling in the school holidays. This Parade begins with a service commemorating both the sacrifice of the ANZACs and Old Boys alike.
Knox Grammar School endeavours to take a number of boys into the city to march with other cadet units and carry the WWI flags of colour patches worn by soldiers during that conflict. It is our intention to bid for places every year to give all boys the opportunity to experience the emotion of the Parade. The boys will gather at the Cadet Office for a gunfire breakfast and then move into town for the ceremony. |

Passing Out Parade
OKGA Parade |
|
Held in August/September, this forms part of the Yr12 cadets rights of passage from the School, as well as celebrating the contribution of the Yr12 cadets over their four years.
Held in October/November and celebrates the contribution the Old Boys have made to the unit and we remember the sacrifices made by Old Boys in war. |
